Casting: Billet and Ingot. These units are clubbed with Induction furnaces and Unimeec Engineers have very vast experience in running and maintain such manufacturing units at low operating cost. Billet is casted through CCM (Continuous casting machine) which has a through and through hole and because of its to and fro motion it can continuously cast the molten material in the turn dish which is at cooling bed can be cut into various length. This CCM can be "billet caster" or "slab (For sheet mill) caster" too. Ingot casting is conventional but most prevalent in India. This unit requires sequential arrangements for pouring and casting of the molten material. This unit is not as sophisticated as CCM but requires very good planning, right selection of casting moulds and their placing design.
